The weekend of our family photo session had arrived and I gathered the troops (Mike and John) and we headed to my sister's house where my brother in-law, who dabbles in photography, was gracious enough to take our photos!  With lollipops in hand we went for it!

Their backyard brushes up against a tree farm which is perfect for photos! Next spot was a little beach close by.   

It was a fun, frustrating, and memory filled day and even though I do wish John would have put down the pop and smiled more -- I loved our first little photo session together! 

I took two of our pics taken from this session, and in collaboration with one of my favorite companies, Artifact Uprising, made our Christmas cards for this year!

Their new holiday card collection includes: foiled stamp options, artist collaboration cards, multi image cards, hand lettered cards, and Christmas and New Years specific cards. They do envelope addressing too!
